Paul George and Nike will be celebrating the New 2021 Jordans on the Los Angeles Clipper stars’ signature hardwood sneaker. Following their last collaboration in 2018, Paul George and Nike will be adding PlayStation to their coveted relationship with two new renditions. It’s safe to say the PG 4 was not a huge hit among fans in 2020 but Nike and Paul George have success on their mind with the new updated PG 5 in 2021. With the fresh new take and great colorways and collaborations we’ve seen thus far, the sneaker will likely be on many courts around the globe throughout the year. Dropping two renditions, the duo features the same color aesthetic all while featuring two distinctively different offerings. Focusing on blue and white on both, one showcases an upper full of blue with white detailing. Vise versa, the other sneaker features a white variation with blue detailing and accents. Both come equipped with PlayStation branding and themes across the tongue and overlay systems.
The DIY aesthetic has only been amplified over the past couple of years with brands marketing sneakers that boast customizable qualities. While the trend is only growing, Newly Jordans looks to ride the wave in 2021 with a DIY Air Jordan 4. DIY takes isn’t something brand new in the sneaker industry but a silhouette like the Air Jordan 4 has caused many sneakerheads to get interested. While Retro models are usually held above standard trends and kept classic the majority of the time, it looks like Jordan Brand will be cashing out on trends, whether we like it or not. No leaked images have surfaced of the shoe, but the colorway is expected to arrive in White and Black. Like other DIY makeovers, expect a shiny white leather upper that’s highlighted with black outlines around overlays and branding. To add the DIY aesthetic, the shoe will be released with a set of markers so users will be able to use the 1989 silhouette as a canvas for their personal creativity.
Originally released in 1996, the New Sale Jordan is celebrating its 25th Anniversary in 2021 and The Kid has ramped up efforts with an iteration that honors Jackie Robinson. In great efforts, Nike and Ken Griffey Jr will be celebrating the life of Jackie Robinson through his first signature sneaker, the Air Griffey Max 1. The new iteration is set to feature a universal black and white design that features a black upper that’s accented by white detailing throughout on branded portions and a special “42” that replaces the usual “24” branding on the ankle straps. Celebrating the past and looking for a better future, “There’s not an Buy Aviators Ray-Ban Earglasses in this country free until every one of us is free” is written tonally on the straps as well.
